LiFE

Our flagship platform, LiFE, provides an integrated, fully customisable interface for all tasks related to the development of language resources and technologies, starting from designing the questionnaire to data collection, transcription, interlinear glossing, translation, annotation, designing lexicon, producing grammars, then training NLP models using this data and finally integrating these or other NLP models for different tasks being accomplished on the platform. It is designed by keeping in mind the workflow needed and used primarily by linguists for collecting and analysing data for under-represented languages from the field.
